On the way between Li-Tang and Khandien. The landscape in this area were very similar to Aso
area in Kumamoto, Japan where I used to go often, but 1000 times bigger in size!!

Then we arrived in Khandien. This is the view from the Black Tent GH we stayed. The city was Chinese
dominant and didn't see much tibetans.

The Black Tent GH was tibetan-owned, and our minds still in tibet.....

I heard that Khandien has natural hot springs for bath, so we went as soon as we arrived to wash
off dirts from Li-tang.

Khandien's famous rather fast river. I am pretty sure this river is class 4 for kayaking!!
People can enjoy class 4 river kayaking in the heart of Khandien downtown. I wonder how many people dissapeared in the city
due to the river, like those who got drunk at bars and on the way home they fell and................not that small number
I guess.
